Meet Yolanda

                                                      MS-8    11" x 14"       #18 canvas

The newest addition to the Manuel Salas collection.  She is the same size as the others, so would make a great companion piece.

Back From the Framer

                                                   907

Thanks to our framer for helping with the frame selection, and to Zecca for the adorable fimo buttons...we pried the back off and just glued the buttons onto the frame.

This is the canvas I stitched in this years Tony Minieri class, with a few tweaks here and there.....not too serious an undertaking, so lots of fun!

More Halloween from Manuel Salas

To add to the Halloween collection Manuel and I collaborated on this new skeleton, MS-7 "La Dama Elegante" (The Elegant Lady).  The background design is a picado, but as far as her outfit goes, it looks like she was hoping to get invited to the Royal wedding.

Elephant Class

I dropped in at Family Arts Needlework yesterday to see what was happening at the Paint Your Elephant class taught by Linda Corirossi, and here are a few of the elephants in progress.  Everyone chose a different color for their elephants, so each canvas will be an original.  There was conversation about real eyelashes , beads, and jewelry!  Hope I get to see some of the finished results.

After Long Beach...

The Long Beach TNNA market was a lot of work, but also lots of fun. Thanks to Judy Wells, from Family Arts Needlework, who helped us set up, and to Linda Corirossi and Lisa Kessler (at BeStitched ) for letting us display their wonderful stitched canvases.

Now that we're home, models are unpacked, orders started, and website up-dated.  If you missed the show, all the new canvases are on the "NEW" page of our website...www. tapestryfair.com.

Show Time

Walmart isn't the only one to have a "greeter".

Meet Pelva DiBone, our new show helper.  Maybe she would like Timothy to come visit?!
