Be Your Own Jewelry Designer

Magnetique cuff available from Tapestry Fair (c)
Magnets by Accoutrement, Mag Friends, Puffin & Co.
                                         Additional bracelets from Lucky Star

If you have ever wondered what else to do with your growing magnet collection, here's an idea that's fun and functional - wear them!

These cuffs are handcrafted in the USA and are available in four different finishes - brushed nickel, chrome, copper or brass.  They are adjustable, and also have a place to hang a non-magnetic scissor fob if you'd like to add a dangle.

Choose a theme for a holiday or special occasion, or go for an eclectic look with a variety of your favorite magnets and fobs - you're the designer!  Wear it to class  or out to dinner - the possibilities are endless.

A Holiday Finish

                                           1088-A  Sugar Skull Mask

This should be back from the finisher just in time for Halloween and Day of the Dead (fingers crossed).

The two Kanzashi flowers had to be adapted from the original instructions because of their size (these are only about 3/4" in diameter), but worked really well once I figured out how to make it happen.  I must admit that they were a little difficult to do, but that is probably due to the length of my fngernails.  And, a special thank you to Lisa Kessler at BeStitched for the idea of using scrapbooking brads for the flower centers!

Meet Yolanda

                                                      MS-8    11" x 14"       #18 canvas

The newest addition to the Manuel Salas collection.  She is the same size as the others, so would make a great companion piece.

Back From the Framer

                                                   907

Thanks to our framer for helping with the frame selection, and to Zecca for the adorable fimo buttons...we pried the back off and just glued the buttons onto the frame.

This is the canvas I stitched in this years Tony Minieri class, with a few tweaks here and there.....not too serious an undertaking, so lots of fun!

More Halloween from Manuel Salas

To add to the Halloween collection Manuel and I collaborated on this new skeleton, MS-7 "La Dama Elegante" (The Elegant Lady).  The background design is a picado, but as far as her outfit goes, it looks like she was hoping to get invited to the Royal wedding.
