This is the progress on the Halloween companion piece for Un Pocito de Color. As soon as I get Manuel's approval and/or changes I'll continue......Halloween isn't that far away!
P: when I saw the original artwork I didn't see it as a "halloween" canvas but as a Day of the Dead piece. They are quite different from each other. I thought you were doing two: a day of the dead and the other to be a Halloween piece. I don't like the spider on the chin. I liked all of the original color splashes on the face and the wonder clothing, full of vibrant colors. Please let me know if you are doing one or two. thanks, Janet Moyer
Hi Janet - Yes, I am doing two of these. The first one that you saw is a Day of the Dead skeleton and will remain exactly as you saw it on the photo. The canvas pictured above is a spin-off of the original with more of a Halloween flavor - painted for those stitchers who aren't into Dia de Los Muertes, but love Halloween. Peggi
