Early Christmas Present

I've been collecting stitched canvases for years, and after the move I finally found the incentive and time to finish pinning them together and turn it over to the upholsterer.

Most of these pieces are stitched in basketweave for durability, with a few decorative stitches on the back of the chair.

Thanks to Santa and Eric Hennesey of Quintessentials Custom Upholstery...he is a genius!

  1. Fabulous! I'm still trying to finish a window seat cushion this way!

  2. I have gobs of pillows that were shop models, but are now discontinued designs. Makes me wonder if I can do something like this. Thanks for the idea!

    1. Hi Mary Agnes - Some of these were shop models also, and the chair was from a used hotel furniture store. All you need is a good upholsterer and a lot of T-pins. Go for it!
